There is no need to pre book to trade at MARM events.
However, traders are asked to complete the Trader Expression of Interest form with an email address so we can contact you if required and include you in our traders directory.
MARM events are fully marshalled to ensure smooth arrival, clear pitch positioning and an organised trading environment.
MARM takes place at the South of England Showground within the Abergavenny Building, with additional outdoor trading space used where required.
The fair opens to the public at 8.30am and closes at 3pm.
Visitor entry is £4, with free parking available on site.
1/2 price entry for reenactors wearing kit and for military vehicle owners
Traders may arrive and set up at the following times:
Saturday from 4pm until 8pm
Sunday from 6am until 8am
Public access begins at 8.30am and the fair closes at 3pm.
£30 per 3 metres width x approximately 4 metres depth
Pitch size will be measured by marshals on your arrival and the ends then marked in the sand
Table hire is available at £8 per table.
Please ask the marshals after parking if you require tables.
Enter the showground via the Main Entrance (Princes Gate)
Marshals will direct you to the Abergavenny Building
Traders drive into the building and are positioned on their pitch by marshals
Please note that the Abergavenny Building has a sand floor.
Payment will be collected after you have been parked.
Please have payment ready.
Cash back can be offered at the gate for a small fee, however traders are advised to bring a card machine if possible.
If arriving on Saturday:
A food truck will be on site
Toilets and shower block will be open
The Abergavenny doors will be closed overnight
Site gates will be locked for security
Basic accommodation is available at Rank Lodge on site:
£35 per person
Bunk bed rooms
Blanket and pillow provided
Traders must bring their own bedding
Shared toilets and showers
Rooms must be paid for in advance.
